Terms of Service

The service

Lunaris is a Discord security and moderation bot: member verification, anti-raid and anti-nuke protection, phishing and scam detection, and moderation tools, alongside a website dashboard for configuring them and a marketing site describing the product. Core protection is free; Pro adds capacity, branding, backups, analytics and Reunite for a subscription price.

Eligibility

• You must meet Discord's own minimum age to use Discord at all, and Lunaris does not lower that bar.
• To install or configure Lunaris in a server, you must have the authority to do so in that server (server ownership, or a role the server's owner has granted admin access to in Lunaris).

Accounts and access

The dashboard has no password of its own: access is through Discord sign-in, and who can administer a given server is decided by that server's owner or its configured admin role, never by a Discord permission alone. You are responsible for keeping your own Discord account secure; anyone who controls it can act as you inside Lunaris.

Plans and billing

Free gives you the full protection engine at no cost, for as long as you use Lunaris. Pro is $9 per month or $90 per year, and each additional server on the same subscription is $4 per month or $40 per year. A founding rate of $5 per month is available to the first 50 subscribers and is locked for as long as they stay subscribed.

Billing is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel or manage a subscription at any time from the dashboard's billing page, which hands you to Stripe's own billing portal.

If Lunaris flags nothing in your first month, we refund you. The digest decides, not us. Beyond that guarantee, refunds are handled case by case; contact legal@lunaris.bot.

Lunaris does not offer a free trial. The free plan is not time-limited, and Pro is a paid plan from the moment you subscribe.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Lunaris to violate Discord's own Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Do not attempt to circumvent, disable, or reverse engineer Lunaris's security features, including the verification flow, anti-raid, anti-nuke, or the scam scanner.
• Do not use Lunaris to harass, impersonate, or collect information about people without their knowledge.
• If you administer a server running Lunaris, you are responsible for how you configure its moderation features (auto-timeouts, keyword filters, the CAPTCHA fail action, and similar) and for the consequences of that configuration in your own server.

Reunite

Reunite lets an individual member authorize a server owner to re-add them to that owner's replacement server if the original is lost. It is opt-in per member, through its own consent screen naming exactly what is authorized. A member's authorization can only ever be used by the same owner, into a server that owner controls, and it expires or can be revoked as described in the Privacy Policy. Misusing Reunite, including attempting to use an authorization outside these terms, is a violation of this agreement.

Service availability

We aim to keep Lunaris available and responsive, but the service is provided on a best-effort basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Discord outages, upstream API limits, or maintenance can affect Lunaris's features, including verification and security detection, and we are not liable for the consequences of an interruption outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law, Lunaris is provided "as is", and our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

You may stop using Lunaris at any time by removing the bot from your server or cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, for abuse of the service, or for non-payment, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

Changes to these terms

We will post updates to this page. Continuing to use Lunaris after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

This section names the jurisdiction whose law governs these terms once the company's place of business is finalized. Until then, treat it as reserved rather than as a claim about where disputes are resolved.
