The money questions.
Is there a free trial?
No, and there is nothing to trial. The complete protection engine is free permanently rather than free for a fortnight: verification, anti-raid, anti-nuke, anti-spam, impersonation detection, the phishing feed, moderation and message logs, with 30 days of log history. Pro adds identity, recovery, insight and capacity, and you can start and stop it whenever you like.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
Your server keeps every shield it had. A failed payment does not cut anything off at once, because the subscription stays active while Stripe retries the card. If it ends for good, the Pro features stop and capacity returns to the free caps. Backups you already made are kept rather than deleted.
If I cancel, do I keep the founding rate?
No. The rate belongs to the subscription rather than to the account, and cancelling releases the seat back to the pool for someone else. Starting again later is at whatever price is current, which is $9 once the seats are gone. That is what "for as long as the subscription stays active" means, and the live counter is derived that way.
Can I take the founding rate on annual billing?
No, and the two cannot be combined. The founding rate is a monthly price locked at $5 a month. Annual billing is $90 a year at the standard rate, which is two months free.
How are additional servers billed?
As quantity on the subscription you already have, not as a second subscription: one invoice, one renewal date, $4 a month per extra server. You change the count in the Stripe customer portal and Stripe bills the difference for the rest of the cycle. A slot can be moved from one server to another in the dashboard without buying anything.
Is there a refund?
Yes, and the product decides it rather than we do. If Lunaris flags nothing in your first month, we refund you. The digest decides, not us. The weekly digest is the record, so there is nothing to argue about. Cancelling on its own is two clicks in the Stripe portal and takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for.
Will the free tier ever start charging for protection?
No. The security engine is free permanently, and that is a position rather than a launch promotion: a company whose revenue depends on paywalling safety structurally cannot make the same statement. If prices change they change in the paid column, and any subscription that is running is told before the renewal that applies them.
