Quick start

1. Add Lunaris to your server

Pick the server from Discord's list and confirm. The invite asks for Administrator so every protection works from the first minute.

• You need Manage Server in the server you are adding it to.
• Every permission Lunaris actually uses, what each one does, and what breaks without it, is listed on the transparency page.

2. Run /setup

A wizard asks one question per screen and saves each answer as you go.

• It creates the quarantine role for you if you do not have one.
• It runs topology checks at the end and tells you exactly what is missing.
• You can stop and re-run it at any time. Nothing is lost between runs.

3. Post the verification panel

Run /verify-panel in the channel new members land in. They do the rest themselves.

• Members lock their DMs, accept the rules, and solve one CAPTCHA.
• A member who fails can always be let in by hand by your staff.
• Everything they do is recorded in your security log for 30 days on the free plan.

One thing setup does not switch on

Anti-raid, anti-spam, anti-nuke and scam auto-timeout are off until you enable them, because they act automatically and the right thresholds differ per server. The setup wizard offers to enable all four in one click at the end, and /config shows a recommended marker on each one that is still off.
